Barbara Fritsche
Shareholder / President

Barbara Fritsche joined Rammelkamp Bradney in 1982 and concentrates her practice on insurance defense and employment law. She received her bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University and her law degree from DePaul University. Barbara served by appointment of the Illinois Supreme Court to the Character and Fitness Committee for the Fourth Appellate District from 1991-2000. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 2002. Barbara serves on the board of directors for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel.

In the employment law field, Barbara advises companies, agencies, and municipalities on hiring decisions, layoffs, terminations, discrimination claims, as well as challenges raised by the Illinois Human Rights Act, the Americans With Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act. Her experience includes trial work in circuit court, federal district court, and administrative tribunals, as well as appellate practice before the State appeals courts and the Illinois Supreme Court. She frequently lectures and conducts seminars on employment-related topics.
